A law firm seeks a Banking and Financial Services Associate in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations. Candidates must be licensed to practice in their home jurisdiction or be eligible for admission.

Duties

• Represent financial institutions, asset managers, and issuers in structured finance transactions and securitizations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for asset-backed securities issuances and other structured finance arrangements.
• Prepare, negotiate, review, and analyze transactional legal opinions.
• Support the team throughout all phases of complex structured finance transactions.

Requirements

• Experience with CLO transactions and related special purpose entity matters.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced transactional practice.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in home jurisdiction or eligible for admission.

Skills

• Experience in structured finance and securitizations.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues.
