Duties

• Negotiate and draft construction agreements and license/access agreements.
• Manage mechanics liens and lien foreclosures.
• Handle RPAPL 881 proceedings and construction defect cases.
• Address construction delays and related legal issues.
• Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm.

Requirements

• 3-12 years of experience in construction law, real estate law, or commercial litigation.
• Admission to practice law in New York.
• Strong writing, legal analysis, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
