Duties:
- Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on a broad range of tax issues for individual, corporate, and nonprofit clients.
- Research complex tax laws, regulations, and precedents to craft well-informed legal opinions and solutions.
- Draft and review tax documents, including filings, agreements, and tax planning strategies.
- Assist senior attorneys with client interactions and help manage ongoing cases.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals in cross-disciplinary matters, ensuring thorough and efficient case management.
- Support the firm’s overall goals through continuous professional development and contributing to the firm’s collective knowledge.
Requirements:
- LL.M. in Taxation (preferred).
- Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
- Excellent academic credentials (top 25% preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and interact effectively with clients.
- Capacity to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- LL.M. in Taxation (preferred).
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana (or eligibility to be admitted).
Skills:
