A law firm in Dayton is currently seeking a highly qualified Transactional Associate Attorney to join its Construction group. The ideal candidate should have 2-6 years of experience in negotiating and drafting design and construction agreements. The role involves working on real estate development, large industrial capital projects, and potentially construction claims resolution. The candidate must demonstrate strong academic credentials, a robust work ethic, excellent writing and research skills, and the ability to build strong client and peer relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft design and construction agreements.
• Work on real estate development, providing legal support for large industrial capital projects.
• Potentially handle construction claims resolution matters.
• Collaborate with clients, peers, and other stakeholders.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess 2-6 years of experience in the negotiation and drafting of design and construction agreements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in transactional law with a focus on construction agreements.
• Strong academic credentials.
