Duties:

• Provide comprehensive counsel to clients in the realm of intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent prosecution.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support client cases and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft and file patent applications, respond to office actions and manage the patent prosecution process.
• Collaborate with clients, inventors, and internal teams to understand technical aspects and effectively communicate legal strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution.
• Active membership in good standing with the Patent Bar.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state of South Carolina or eligible for admission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Patent Bar.
