The candidate will support the legal team, nationwide, from the General Counsel’s office and align with the post location. Review and prepare a wide range of commercial, construction, and real estate contracts, corporate documents, and non-disclosure agreements. Manage contract execution and delivery. Track document requests, subpoenas, and discovery demand and analyze documents for privilege. Assist in organizing legal department files. Assist in creating charts and presentation materials. Conduct legal research using Lexis. Draft legal correspondence. Track and review outside counsel billing and other legal department invoices. Track corporate licenses, registrations, permits, and state filings. Assist in conducting internal investigations. Must have a Bachelor's degree or at least two years of higher education plus paralegal training certification. Should have 5+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house legal department. Should possess a friendly and professional manner that engenders trust. Open to the views and experiences of others and the learning that comes through feedback. Excellent writing skills and contract drafting skills. Should have a high EQ. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities. Meticulous attention to detail and superb proofreading skills. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Fluency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
