Job Overview

A law firm seeks lateral partner candidates to expand its Towson, Maryland office. Ideal candidates are current partners licensed in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and/or Virginia with portable books of business in areas such as construction and surety, commercial litigation, or insurance coverage. Small groups of 2-3 attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Develop and manage client relationships.
• Lead and collaborate on legal projects.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm's practice areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years at the Bar.
• MD bar admission required.
• Portable business required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and/or Virginia.

Skills

• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record in business development.
