Duties

• Provide high-quality legal representation in immigration and related litigation matters.
• Represent clients in removal proceedings, bond hearings, and other court appearances.
• Prepare and file habeas corpus petitions, motions, appeals, and other pleadings.
• Draft legal briefs, memoranda, and motions for various courts and agencies.
• Evaluate cases, identify defenses, and develop strategic case plans.
• Handle affirmative immigration matters before USCIS.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, including vulnerable populations.
• Provide guidance and support to legal staff.
• Manage deadlines and a high-volume caseload professionally.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the United States.
• Admitted and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Commitment to immigration advocacy and client-centered representation.
