Duties:

• Offer legal and tax support on estate planning and estate administration matters.
• Research Federal and New York State tax issues as they pertain to estates.
• Prepare court documents related to estate administration.
• Provide support for estate litigation, assisting in the preparation and management of cases.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
• 0-2 years of experience in Trusts and Estates Administration, or a demonstrated interest in this field.
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts straightforwardly.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently when necessary.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Expertise or keen interest in Trusts and Estates law.
• Ability to analyze complex tax and legal issues.
