Legal Assistant- Scheduler
The candidate's responsibilities are administrative in nature, including filing (physical and electronic), phone coverage, calendaring, timekeeping, file opening, data entry, scanning and client correspondence. Must have at least 1+ year of legal experience.
Must be an accurate typist and good proofreader, capable of 80wpm. Knowledge of court rules and filings a strong plus. Must have digital transcription experience along with strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook. Experience with TrialWorks and PCLaw a plus. The position requires great attention to detail and accuracy of work. Exceptional organizational skills are a must along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency are required. Must be able to follow established office procedures with minimal guidance. Must be professional and possess a friendly demeanor with clients, adversaries and co-employees.
