Duties
- Represent clients in immigration matters before USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
- Manage USCIS Asylum Petitions and Family Based Petitions
- Conduct Adjustment of Status (AOS) interviews
- Assist clients with work permit applications
- Prepare and file legal documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws
- Handle master and individual appearances for immigration hearings
- Develop effective case strategies in collaboration with the legal team
- Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations
- Provide excellent client support and maintain effective communication throughout the legal process
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to practice law in California
- 1-6 years of experience in immigration law, particularly with USCIS, ICE, and EOIR
- Demonstrated experience handling master and individual appearances
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California
