Attorney Compensation Manager
The candidate's duties include: Develops, implements, and manages the attorney compensation programs for the firm. Develops compensation philosophy and strategy to increase simplicity, efficiency, and transparency in compensation policies and related information. Addresses and resolves questions, complaints, and requests for adjustments related to individual compensation matters including reduced hours and special compensation. Oversees, facilitates, and participates in the annual processes for determining individual compensation, including salaries and bonuses. Oversees the production and reporting of aggregate and individual compensation data. Ensures attorney compensation models are effective, well understood, and readily articulated, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements. Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert in attorney compensation matters. Should have bachelor's degree is required, preferably in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics or accounting. An MBA or JD is a plus. Should have Five years of accounting and/or compensation systems experience in a manager-level role in a professional services organization, preferably a law firm, supporting a multi-office environment.
