A law firm seeks an associate for its Boston, MA office to join the Labor & Employment Practice Area with a secondary focus on Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for expertise in labor and employment law.

Duties

• Engage in all aspects of labor and employment law.
• Participate in complex commercial litigation.
• Work directly with clients to develop and execute service strategies.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and handle hearings independently.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts or Connecticut.
• Dual bar in New York State or willingness to seek admission preferred.
• Experience with federal clerkships considered.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Massachusetts or Connecticut required.

Skills

• Superior verbal communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience in client interaction and strategy development.
