A prestigious law firm is seeking a Private Client Trusts & Estates Associate or Senior Associate with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Private Client Department. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a talented team advising high-net-worth individuals and families, fiduciaries, family-owned businesses, and tax-exempt entities on complex trusts and estates matters.

Duties

• Handle sophisticated private client matters involving trusts and estates

• Advise on high-net-worth trust and estate planning and administration

• Navigate domestic estate planning, including:

  • Succession planning

  • Lifetime giving

  • Estate and income taxation

  • Charitable giving

  • Estate planning for retirement assets

  • Tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies

• Collaborate with probate and tax litigation teams and the Family Office practice group

• Develop creative solutions to meet client needs

• Provide excellent technical, professional, and client service support

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in trusts and estates law

• Strong technical skills in private client and tax/succession planning matters

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Exceptional client service focus

• Ability to work independently and proactively

• Team-oriented with a strong emphasis on collaboration

• Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities

• Member in good standing with the Florida State Bar

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida State Bar is required
