Job Overview:

The law firm is looking to expand its team by adding an Associate Attorney with at least three years of experience in civil or business litigation. This position offers a dynamic and supportive environment where you’ll be responsible for managing a range of legal matters, from pre-litigation disputes to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, sharp writing and research skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on business-related disputes.
• Draft and review legal documents including complaints, motions, and discovery materials.
• Perform legal research to support case strategies and provide informed advice to clients.
• Lead depositions, hearings, and other client-facing meetings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex case strategies, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely progress and effective results.
• Maintain open lines of communication with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and offering strategic guidance.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements in the jurisdiction.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on litigation experience, ideally in civil or business litigation.
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• License: Active membership in the California State Bar.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience drafting legal briefs, motions, and other key litigation documents.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with senior attorneys.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to think strategically in high-pressure situations.
