Duties:

• Conduct client consultations and communications
• Take and defend depositions
• Perform legal research and draft motions
• Lead mediations and settlement negotiations
• Develop case strategies from inception to conclusion
• Represent clients in court, including trials
• Manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation (5+ years preferred)
• Active and good-standing member of the Mississippi State Bar
• Proven successful jury trial experience
• Proficiency in drafting and responding to motions
• Strong understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Rules of Evidence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Mississippi State Bar

Certifications:

• Must hold an active license to practice law in the state of Mississippi
