Product Contracting Associate
Duties: Filing, obtaining and maintaining state product approvals, including analyzing and applying regulations. Managing and drafting innovative contract forms that accurately reflect product specifications, meet all legal and operational requirements, and are consumer friendly. Collaborating and obtaining sign-off from internal business partners on state communication strategies and contract language. Participating in and leadership on miscellaneous projects. Lead or manage the filing of new or revised contract forms, including developing efficient and innovative filing strategies. Ensure that the filings are consistent with the filing strategy and comply with state filing requirements. Research and analyze state regulations for applicability to contract forms, internal processes, and discussions with state regulators. Work with state regulators and internal business partners to obtain state filing approvals in a timely manner. Lead or manage the drafting of new or revised contracts. Ensure that the drafted contract forms are consistent with product specifications and other forms, are compliant with regulations, and are written in a clear, concise, consumer friendly manner. Research and analyze regulations to ensure contract language meets product specification requirements while being compliant with regulations. Collaborate with business partners to address any concerns and achieve timely sign-off on contract language.
