A growing boutique family law firm in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Family Law Attorney to join its dynamic team. Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Manage family law cases from intake through resolution, including hearings, trials, and post-judgment actions

  • Draft, review, and refine pleadings, motions, orders, decrees, and other filings

  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients to provide legal counsel and manage expectations

  • Lead discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, document review, and depositions

  • Represent clients in court, mediation, and settlement conferences

  • Conduct legal research and develop case strategies in compliance with Texas Family Code

  • Track time accurately using legal case management software

  • Contribute to firm initiatives and business development efforts

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in family law litigation

  • Experience independently managing high-volume caseloads

  • Comfortable with courtroom litigation and client advocacy

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with clients

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills

  • Tech-savvy and capable of adapting to a digital legal environment

  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal writing and research capabilities

  • Skilled negotiator and persuasive oral advocate

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in legal documents

  • Familiarity with legal tech platforms; Apple/Mac experience is a plus

  • Empathetic, client-centered communication style

  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and compassion
