Location

• Dallas, TX

Duties

• Lead and manage acquisitions for private equity funds

• Oversee all aspects of transactional work including leveraged buyouts, minority and junior capital investments, rollups, and "going private" deals

• Advise clients on complex private equity structuring and fund formation

• Collaborate with a national team of over 90 attorneys within the Corporate and Private Equity practice

• Serve as lead associate in negotiations, drafting, and closings

• Engage with clients directly and independently

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in private equity acquisitions

• Demonstrated ability to independently lead transactions

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

• Strong academic credentials

• Exceptional writing and oral communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a national team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas (active and in good standing)

• Excellent client relationship management skills

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting capabilities
