A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Associate with three to five years of substantive experience in Washington, D.C. Duties

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 proceedings.
• Handle contested hearings and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.
• Engage in general litigation matters as needed.

Requirements

• Three to five years of substantive bankruptcy experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and representing debtors and creditors.
• Bankruptcy court experience, including contested hearings and adversary proceedings.

Education

• Strong academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
