Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney for its office in Mount Laurel, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in litigation, construction, procurement, and related professional malpractice and labor disputes. This role offers the opportunity to expand litigation practice and potentially advance into a leadership position.

Duties

• Manage the full life cycle of public and private construction projects from preconstruction through post-construction litigation.
• Prepare bid documentation, contract formation, capital improvements, and related procurement processes.
• Litigate contract disputes, design defects, and delay claims.

Requirements

• 2+ years of litigation experience; construction and public entity experience preferred.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Ability to take and defend depositions and appear in court.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• NJ license required; PA and/or NY a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey; additional licenses in PA and/or NY are advantageous.
