Duties

• Focus practice on franchise and corporate law.
• Independently manage a base of existing franchise and business clients.
• Engage in transactional and regulatory work.
• Represent franchisors in franchise disclosure, registrations, and agreements.
• Address franchise relationship issues such as renewals and terminations.
• Ensure franchise law compliance and respond to government inquiries.
• Advise franchisees on disclosure documents and agreements.
• Negotiate agreements for prospective franchisees.
• Handle purchases and sales of franchise businesses.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Experience in transactional business/corporate law.
• Franchise law experience preferred.
• Willingness to engage in franchise law training.
• Desire for direct client contact.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Commitment to high-quality work and client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
