Duties

• Oversee all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including strategy development, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
• Meet with clients to understand their legal issues, provide advice, and develop effective strategies.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and arguments.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to prepare trial materials.
• Evaluate cases, identify issues, and recommend the best course of action.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on case status.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California with a strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on personal injury or employment law cases.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Proven trial experience with the ability to represent clients assertively.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple cases.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
