Assistant General Counsel
The candidate will provide strategic management and oversight for ABM’s employment law claims nationwide including budgeting and managing legal costs and early resolution of these matters. Provide practical business-oriented legal advice to ABM’s operations and human resources teams on a daily basis regarding various employment law-related topics. Manage the preparation of responses to administrative charges and/or complaints filed with the EEOC, DOL, and related state and local agencies. Monitor new legislation in assigned geographic regions and make recommendations to the ABM operations and human resources teams on the best ways to operationalize the changes. Conduct employment law-related due diligence in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
