Assistant Office Manager

The candidate monitors work flow and various miscellaneous duties involved in overall daily operation of the office. Assists Office Manager in carrying out responsibilities in accordance with firm policy and applicable laws. Among other duties, responsibilities include recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training support staff; implement firm policies with the support of the Human Resources Department; also to include conducting hiring, corrective action, termination, performance assessments and other management activities. Should preferably have 3+ years of supervisory and/or management in a law firm. Strong interpersonal, communication, decision making and organizational skills a must. Must be able to perform legal secretarial duties, if needed. Previous experience in law firm office management is preferred.
