A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Houston, Texas. Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare client reports and case evaluations.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.
• Assist with case strategy and file management.
• Support trial preparation and participate in trials as appropriate.
• Manage deadlines across multiple active matters.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
• 2 to 5 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong interest in civil litigation and courtroom practice.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to grow as a litigator.
