Represent secured creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings
Review and manage legal documents including notices, pleadings, and correspondence
Handle plan confirmations, motions for relief, adversary proceedings, and contested matters
Respond to written disputes and inquiries from courts and counsel
Argue motions and attend hearings in New Jersey state and federal courts
Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
Provide legal guidance to clients throughout the bankruptcy process
Supervise and collaborate with legal support staff for document preparation and case management
Minimum of 3 years of experience handling creditor-side bankruptcy matters
Strong working knowledge of bankruptcy law and secured creditor rights
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
Willingness to travel for court appearances across New Jersey
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice in New Jersey:
State Courts
Federal Courts
Bankruptcy Court (with CM/ECF filing credentials)
Admission in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred
Strong legal writing and research skills
Litigation and negotiation capabilities
Familiarity with court systems, filing procedures, and bankruptcy regulations
Proficiency in case management and legal technology platforms
Ability to provide clear, strategic legal counsel
