A law firm seeks a project finance attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join their sponsor-side project finance group in New York. The ideal candidate will have a background in project finance or a combination of project and acquisition finance from a top-tier national or international law firm.

Duties

• Manage closings for project finance and acquisition finance transactions.
• Draft and review credit, cash waterfall, and security documentation.
• Conduct due diligence for large renewable and conventional power, infrastructure, and energy projects.
• Prepare bid and commitment papers for transactions.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in project finance at a top-tier law firm.
• Familiarity with ISDA, EEI, and similar documentation.
• Experience with tax equity financings and other renewable energy financings.
• Blend of lender and sponsor-side experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
