The law office of Hanlon Law, PA is seeking an aggressive associate attorney with 3-4 years of experience in either the Public Defender's or State Attorney's office. If you do not have jury trial experience please do not apply. Applicant will be working primarily in the Sarasota office, but may be required to drive to courthouses within the local area. Salary depends on experience and performance, $200K+.

What You’ll Do

• Handle misdemeanor and felony criminal cases

• Appear in court regularly

• Take cases through hearings and jury trials

• Work cases from intake through resolution

• Communicate directly with clients

• Collaborate with an experienced legal team

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida Bar license

• Criminal defense experience required

• Minimum of 20 to 30 jury trials as lead or co-counsel required

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills
