A law firm seeks a midlevel Asset Management and Investment Funds Associate to join their New York office, with a preference for candidates located in Boston. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience with mutual funds, closed-end funds, and/or ETFs, and a background in U.S. federal securities law.

Duties

• Represent investment companies, advisers, and board members on securities law matters.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced lawyers on diverse client matters.
• Engage in active mentoring and assume increasing responsibility.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in asset management and investment funds.
• Experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and related regulations.
• Background in a top-tier law firm or in-house at an asset manager preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
