Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Litigation Attorney to join its team focused on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related litigation. This remote position is open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S., provided they are licensed and in good standing with the California Bar. The ideal candidate will have significant litigation experience and a desire to work in a specialized and growing practice area.

Location:

• San Francisco, CA

Duties:

• Handle litigation matters related to automotive warranty claims

• Prepare and argue motions, attend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations

• Manage all aspects of case development, from discovery through trial preparation

• Draft legal pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence

• Engage in settlement negotiations and communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel

• Work independently while also collaborating with a broader litigation team

• Provide strategic legal counsel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience

• Significant experience in trial/arbitration preparation, motion practice, depositions, and mediations

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• Commitment to delivering high-quality client service

• Warranty or automotive litigation experience is a plus but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California (required)

• Must be in good standing with the California Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills

• Strong negotiation skills and courtroom presence

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
