A law firm seeks experienced attorneys for full-time, on-site positions in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The roles are available for Senior or Junior Associates and Special Counsel Attorneys. Duties

• Conduct motion practice and depositions.
• Provide legal advice and conduct research.
• Evaluate litigated matters and appear in court.
• Conduct mediations and assist in trials.
• Practice in civil defense of personal injury cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience for Associate Attorney roles.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience for Senior Associate or Special Counsel roles.
• Admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
• Experience in insurance defense litigation preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid license to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Strong litigation skills, including case evaluation and legal research.
• Experience with discovery, trial preparation, and courtroom representation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
