While the majority of responsibilities are transactional, occasional courtroom involvement may be required, making prior litigation exposure beneficial.

Duties:

• Perform detailed legal research using platforms such as Westlaw to support client matters and legal strategies

• Draft a variety of legal instruments, including contracts, real estate documents, and business agreements

• Advise clients on issues related to commercial transactions, real estate matters, and estate planning

• Prepare documentation for court filings and represent clients in limited litigation or hearings as needed

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure comprehensive legal coverage for business clients

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the state of New Hampshire

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in business law, real estate law, or closely related areas

• Demonstrated ability to use legal research tools effectively and efficiently

• Familiarity with transactional law processes and legal compliance standards

• Prior exposure to courtroom or litigation proceedings is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Hampshire Bar (mandatory)

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and analytical reasoning
