A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional client representation. This full-time position requires working onsite with a collaborative group of attorneys and paralegals.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in various family law matters, including dissolution of marriage and domestic violence cases.
• Manage case deadlines and develop strategic approaches.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings and settlement agreements.
• Participate in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Consult with clients to provide updates and guidance.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Oversee client trust account management and collections.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado or pending licensure transfer.
• Interest and experience in family law preferred.
• Minimum of three years of negotiation and litigation experience.
• Knowledge of Colorado family law statutes and local court rules.
• Ability to manage cases independently.
• Strong communication and legal research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AdobePro.
• Experience with legal software such as Clio and Dropbox.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.
