Duties

• Handle civil litigation matters in a law firm environment.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal documents.
• Draft briefs and prepare pleadings.
• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Attend mediations and hearings.
• Interface directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Manage a caseload independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Newly licensed attorneys are welcome to apply.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of California.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and document analysis.
• Strong drafting and litigation skills.
• Experience with trial preparation is a plus.
