A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in commercial real estate, focusing on development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending. This role involves working closely with partners and senior attorneys to support a wide range of real estate transactions and client needs.

Duties

• Assist in commercial real estate development projects.
• Manage purchases and sales of real estate assets.
• Handle corporate real estate matters.
• Negotiate and draft leasing agreements.
• Support mortgage lending transactions.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the relevant state or eligibility for admission.
