A law firm seeks a Financial Services Associate in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience and a robust understanding of federal securities laws to join their Financial Services group. The team advises a diverse range of clients, from small start-ups to large financial institutions, on fund structures and regulatory matters.

Duties

• Advise on cross-border registration and regulatory examinations.
• Handle enforcement and broker-dealer matters.
• Address issues involving blockchain and digital assets.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Investment Company Act and/or Investment Advisers Act.
• Experience with exchange-traded funds, interval funds, or business development companies is a plus.
• Large law firm, in-house, or regulatory agency experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.
