Duties: The candidate will help effectively solve legal problems for clients by analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action. Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed. Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases. Attend court proceedings as needed to ensure effective representation for clients. Collaborate with senior partners, multiple attorneys, and paralegals both in-person and virtual to effectively move files through the civil litigation process. Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps. Engage in matter management to ensure all cases move forward in a timely manner. Set boundaries for clients when needed to ensure the firm is profitable and our attorneys are protected from potential liability. Confirm all work from the Firm is consistent and quality-reviewed for case law and written content/clarity. Experience with billing and keeping track of billable time on cases.
