The candidate will work in insurance/judgment department. Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate. Will be responsible for both telephone and computer work. Will inbound and outbound phone calls to health insurance companies for claim status and eligibility. Follow-up paper claim submission for multiple facilities. Knowledge of health insurance appeals/denial process. Will be researching and understanding health insurance explanation of benefits. Researching and extracting information from multiple web based payer sites. Assisting incoming calls from patients with questions about their accounts.
