Summer Associate Program

The summer program is comprised of two six-week sessions. The program is designed to introduce summer clerks to the various aspects of the practice of law. Students participate in case law analysis and technical writing tasks, as well as in strategy sessions, depositions and hearings. Each student is assigned two attorneys to act as mentors to provide guidance, assistance and feedback throughout their summer session. Under the close supervision of partners and senior associates, summer clerks receive a well-balanced workload. Clerks are also invited to attend various social events and luncheons allowing them to become acquainted with attorneys in the firm. First- and second-year law students are considered.
