Job Overview:
A law firm located in Encino, CA, is actively seeking a litigation attorney to handle a broad spectrum of personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, a passion for advocacy, and the ability to manage a fast-paced caseload involving personal injury litigation from start to finish.

Duties:

• Represent clients in a range of personal injury cases, including vehicle collisions, slip and fall accidents, motorcycle incidents, premises liability claims, and wrongful death actions

• Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring the timely progression of each matter

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, complaints, motions, mediation briefs, and discovery responses

• Conduct legal research and prepare strategic litigation materials

• Propound and respond to written discovery

• Participate in all aspects of case development, including taking and defending depositions

• Present oral arguments in hearings and attend court proceedings both in person and remotely

• Engage in settlement negotiations to resolve claims efficiently and favorably

• Maintain consistent communication and deliver high-quality service to clients

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of California

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation deadlines and multitask under pressure

• Proficiency in legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy

• Experience with personal injury law and litigation strongly preferred

• Ability to independently manage case files from intake through resolution

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California

• Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
