Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in professional liability defense cases, ensuring high-quality advocacy and representation.
• Handle a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters, from case inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive memoranda, briefs, and related documents.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances, consistently advancing clients’ best interests.
• Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients while maintaining open and professional communication.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve favorable outcomes in complex legal matters.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-5 years of legal practice with a proven track record in professional liability defense and civil litigation.
• Bar Admission: Licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey (or licensed in New York and eligible to waive into New Jersey).
• Skills: Exceptional legal writing, analytical thinking, and verbal communication abilities.
• Attributes: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple cases in a deadline-driven environment.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar (New Jersey Bar admission or eligibility to waive in is required).
