Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including asylum applications, deportation defense, and visa petitions.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and appeals.

  • Prepare clients for interviews, hearings, and court appearances.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies.

  • Assist with other legal matters as needed within the firm's practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to a state bar and in good standing.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in immigration law.

  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent legal degree.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Multilingual skills (Spanish preferred).
