A reputable law firm based in Mineola, NY is actively seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their growing plaintiff-side practice. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney passionate about advocating for injured parties in motor vehicle and premises liability cases. Experienced candidates are preferred, though the firm is open to training a motivated junior attorney interested in specializing in personal injury law.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability claims.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case management and progression.
• Draft and review legal documents, including Summons & Complaints (S&Cs) and Bills of Particulars (BPs).
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Work closely with clients to provide regular case updates and offer legal counsel.
• Contribute to the firm's commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client care.

Requirements:

• Experience in personal injury law (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of New York state law related to personal injury and civil litigation.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and work collaboratively with a legal team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.

Skills:

• Case management and client interaction.
• Legal drafting (S&Cs, BPs, motions, etc.).
• Courtroom experience (appearances, depositions).
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
