Duties

• Manage defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Work independently while collaborating with partners and support staff.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Commitment to high-quality client service and ethical practice.
• Ability to manage caseload independently while collaborating with team.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California.
