A law firm seeks a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience in complex litigation, focusing on product liability and class action matters, to join their Minneapolis, MN office. Candidates with defense-side catastrophic injury experience are highly preferred.

Duties

• Engage in motion practice and discovery.
• Write briefs and prepare company witnesses for depositions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court appearances and interact with clients.
• Prepare for and participate in trial work.

Requirements

• Substantial experience handling all phases of a case, including fact investigation and discovery.
• Strong written communication and oral advocacy skills.
• Interest in trial work; prior deposition experience is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Admission to practice law in Minnesota.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
