A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney (Associate) in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, focusing on complex custody, divorce, and protective orders, with full paralegal and billing support.

Duties

• Proactively manage family law cases from start to finish.
• Provide superior customer service, including monthly status reports and weekly case reviews.
• Recommend improvements to practice managers.
• Track accomplishments and client satisfaction using practice quality software.

Requirements

• Two or more years of practicing family law in Texas; five or more years preferred.
• Valid Texas bar license for a minimum of 2 years.
• Solid research and writing skills.
• Passion for conducting hearings, mediations, and consults.
• Energetic, motivated, and highly organized.
• Knowledge of TxDoc and Clio or similar software, MS Office or Google Suite proficiency.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and discovery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
