A law firm seeks a Global Finance Associate in Chicago to join its team. The role involves working on Asset Based Lending and leveraged finance transactions with both bank and non-bank clients.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Lead financing transactions.
• Collaborate with lenders on direct lending and syndicated finance deals.
• Engage with borrower/sponsor clients on fund finance matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in commercial lending transactions.
• Experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Illinois or eligibility for admission.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to lead complex transactions.
