A law firm in Denver, CO, seeks an accomplished Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their energy and natural resources strategic business unit. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience specializing in wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions. They should demonstrate leadership abilities, being comfortable leading scopes of work within a team and supervising junior attorneys. Superior academic credentials, a commitment to community engagement, and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must have an active Bar license or be committed to obtaining one promptly.

Duties:

• Collaborate primarily with attorneys in the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
• Handle wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Lead scopes of work within a team and oversee junior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice.
• Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in renewable energy real estate.
• Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Active CO Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to community involvement and environmental sustainability.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active CO Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
