Duties: Creates, formats, proofreads and edits drafts of documents including administrative correspondence and all forms of pleadings. Formats and prepares documents for filing. Formatting Tables of Contents and Authorities. Files and serves legal documents in State, Federal and Appellate Courts. Communicating with clients and others within and outside of the firm (written and oral). Opening new client and business matters and closing completed client files in accordance with firm policy and procedure. Monitoring and maintaining attorney calendars; schedules conferences and meeting; schedules, calculates, records and monitors court appearance dates and associated deadlines for all team members and in all client matters, including IP docketing in WebTMS (trademarks). Documenting service of and otherwise handling incoming and outgoing mail/shipping. Organizing and maintaining evidence and other documents and files, particularly electronic documents and electronic file management. Processing and monitoring invoices for government filing fees, vendor services, etc. Tracking of attorneys’ MCLE status.
